I'm tied for SSR & BWV. I don't care if I ever stay at any others, which is why we own at both!

We have only stayed at three so far, and we would stay at anyone of them again.

1. AKV Our home. We love love love it. And here's a secret. It is not remote. Great bus service and a short ride everywhere. It just feels like another world. Jiko, Boma, theming, animals, overall feel, Kidani and all of the new things there make it one of a kind.

2. BWV Great location and feel. And we don't mind walking. Besides, the hallways at Jambo are really long as will be Kidani from appearances. BWV is likely going to be a second home resort for us.

3. OKW community feel, large rooms, Olivia's, Gurgling Suitcase, boat ride to DTD, great resort to walk around.

In the three years we have been going to WDW/DVC we have stayed in, ALV, BCV, BWV, OKW, and VWL. I really don't know how you all can decide which is the best? We love them all!! If I had the money I would be like DVCMike and have points at all of them, well maybe not HH and VB. But only because we haven't stayed there and they are not on WDW property. The last reason is why I doubt we will have points in Hawaii, we love not only the resorts but also the parks. Even though we live on the Left(West) coast I doubt we will ever own at GCV because WDW/Orlando area is Big and lots to do, while you can fit all of Disneyland into the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom at WDW, or at least that's what a ME bus driver told us.

PS I forgot to add, we plan on staying at all the WDW resorts not just DVC because they are all so different, that's for another post. Chow and happy hunting.

We have been DVC members for only one year so we have alot left to try but here are my rankings so far (going to BCV in May and BLT in Oct so these may change soon!):

1. AKV-Our home. Love the savannah view, pool, Mara food court, valet parking, Boma and Jiko!
2. Saratoga Springs-Stayed there three times (can you say developer points?) and love the Congress Park downtown Disney view. Would stay there for that view alone.
3. Old Key West-Relaxed, Large rooms.

1. BWV - we love the location and views - our fave for F&G and F&W festivals. We like to people-watch and the boardwalk and Epcot are the best locations for this, IMO.
2. VWL - cozy atmosphere, fabulous lobby - we like it in the winter (another good people-watching spot).
3. AKV - Perfect if we want to feel like we are completely out of touch with the real world.
4. BCV - great location, so-so views, I find it bland. We are not into pools, so SAB is not a factor for us.
5. OKW - love the tropical feel, but we only stay there when we have a car, which is rare.
6. VB - It's our home resort. We've only been there once, but had a great time. We are looking forward to staying there often once we move to FL.

Upcoming trip to BLT in October. Haven't yet stayed at SSR, but our DS has and loved it.

I can't rank my favorite resorts in order. I can't say one is the best, as they each offer unique experiences.

For me, my favorites are the ones I own at. So I guess I have 6 favs.

I just wanted to add that my first post was all the DVC's we've been to so far. The ones I WANT to visit next, in order of "want"-ness are:

1. BLT-it just looks so cool.
2. AKV-I want to wake up with a giraffe staring at me.
3. BCV-want to try that pool.
4. THV-don't love the Archie Bunker color scheme, want to try it for the isolation feel.
5. HHI-Don't really have any interest in going, if I'm going to a beach setting, I want to be AT the beach.

I may have forgotten one..

Oh, the hawaii one um, Ko Olina? looks super-cool, that would be #4...

There is a beach at HHI, right outside of the beach house/pool area.

BWV - BW view , always something to do from relaxing at the quiet pool with a drink to jellyrolls or hitting EPCOT for a little while; never found walking or buses a problem
SSR - pleasant walkways where we met an eagle, & various creatures, clean; secluded without being remote
BLT - looking foward to staying there; while the theme might not enthrall us right now, the location is a winner

BCV - beautiful to look at, but don't care for the incessant noise
OKW - large rooms with low points; too remote for our tastes, sounds we encountered were mostly buses & screaming humans, cleanliness less than what we prefer

have stayed at AKL & WL, but not the villas. we found both beautiful, but prefer "bright" resorts for visits of longer than a few days (& yes, we live near the beach ).

would like to try out VB & HH someday.....
