I will say this last trip Tron really began to impress me more than usual. This is the fourth or fifth trip going on Tron and whereas it felt a little meh in the past, this time I started to really let myself enjoy it more. I think the secret is not to compare it to Guardians...in fact comparing anything to Guardians sets you up for a let down. Tron really is a much better coaster than it gets credit for.

That said number 2 has to be Everest...my favorite queue for a coaster. Uber themed and even with the disco Yeti still amazing.
Ahhh darn I skipped the que this time.

I agree about Everest. Love the line, and also love that it has a single rider line (which I take full advantage of)!

I'd like to preface my vote by saying I don't like Marvel Movies and I've never seen any of the Guardians movies. Cosmic rewind #1 and it's not even close. It's that good.

You might want ot check out the Guardian's movies. They're a little different than the main marvel stuff. I had given my parents "homework" for our recent trip, and one was to watch Guardians - just the first one. They liked it so much, they watched all three and the christmas special! You don't really have to know much about the rest of the Marvel stuff to enjoy them, though there is a key plot point that comes up in Vol. 3 that does hinge on the stuff from Avengers Infinity War/Endgame.

I do love the Everest queue, though I still really love most the Star Tunnel at Space Mountain. It's so nostalgic for me.

1. Cosmic Rewind
2. Expedition Everest
3. Tron
4. RnR
5. Big Thunder
6. Slinky Dog
7. Space Mountain
8. Seven Dwarfs
9. Barnstormer
Your list is closest I see to my rankings:

1. Cosmic Rewind
2. Tron
3. Expedition Everest
4. RnR
5. Big Thunder
6. Space Mountain
7. Slinky Dog
8. Seven Dwarfs
9. Barnstormer

If we're factoring in average wait times, I would move up EE over Tron and BTM over RnR.

1. Guardians
2. RnRC
3. Everest
4. Tron
5. Seven Dwarves
6. Space Mountain
7. Slinky
8. Big Thunder
9. Barnstormer. (Never ridden)

8. 7Dwarfs (an advanced kiddie coaster)
That's interesting. I never think of it as a kiddie coaster.
I listed it higher in my list for a few reasons...
The way the cars swing independently from each other, how smooth of a ride it is (which I love), and the theming when going through the mine with the dwarfs singing etc.

1. Guardians
2. Space Mountain
3. RnRC
4. Tron
5. Big Thunder
6. Seven Dwarves
7. Everest
8. Slinky
9. Barnstormer

Request row 1 , it’s a much better experience. I never wait much either.

Everest is the best roller coaster.
Guardians is the best attraction.

And Slinky is the most anticipointing. I'm not sure how one builds a layout that looks like that but is completely forceless, but they managed!

I don't disagree but Slinky is probably designed as a family coaster.

That is a good point. A lot of these newer rides are "powered coasters" in that they don't really coast at all - motors of some kind are pushing them through the course. They are still technically roller coasters, but they had to stretch the definition to include them. It gives the rides a different feel for sure.

Sure. But "family coaster" does not have to mean that. Dwarves is also a family coaster, but it has its moments.

That's not quite what I mean. I don't think anyone in the enthusiast community would claim that Guardians is "not a roller coaster."

Instead what I mean is: Everest has more interesting physical ride profile, while Guardians is the more entertaining experience.

So, how I would rank them depends on what I am being asked. If I am being asked "what's the most exciting roller coaster at WDW" it's Everest. If I am being asked "what's the most fun roller coaster at WDW" it's Guardians.

My fellow coaster dorks put Guardians (well) ahead of Everest. https://coasterbuzz.com/RollerCoasters/Top100

They have the top coasters in Orlando as Velicicoaster followeb by Mako. I haven't been on Sea World's newest yet, but I'd say that's right.

But Dwarves also frightens my niece, while she likes Slinky (along with her grandmother). So there seems to be an audience. But I agree, Slinky is not a thrilling rollercoaster, but it can be fun for the whole family (if you avoid getting burnt to a crisp by the Orlando sun while queuing in Toy Story Land)
