Hi

I am keen for Randy Chapman to be our photographer as his work looks amazing.

I have only heard great reports from this forum, but me being me I have one question that I would like to ask:

How long did it take before you got all of your photographs. I live in the UK so obviously this will take longer. I will be on Honeymoon 2 weeks after the wedding day, do you think it is possible that we would get the photos before we leave?

Thanks.

I'm also from the Uk and having Randy and not at all worried about him getting the prints to us before we leave for home (10 days later). He will make sure you have them before you leave - just make sure you bear in mind that they'll be quite heavy so you'll need to allow for the weight in your luggage allowance!!

I guess we will just have to leave our hand luggage free so that we have space for those photos. I won't be letting them out of our sight.:goodvibes

They are incredibly heavy. Make sure that b/c you are a UK bride that you have made arrangements with him before hand!

We used Randy and he delivered the photos in around 5 days. Yes they are heavy and we took them as hand luggage, not just for the weight, but the sentimental value too.

Hi,

We recently where married in April and had Randy, we only had a 2 wks in total and where married 5 days into the wedding he had all the pics printed and in an album for us 7 days later! I thought was fantastic! The album's are heavy but we packed them in our cases. I was really annoyed  with customs as they had ripped off the lock in our case ripped :eek:the box that Randy had put the album in and bent the album slightly!

So my advise is to like Rascal1003 said and take them as hand luggage at least you know they will be safe in your hands!

If you have any other questions just give me a shout!

Oh no poor you, you must have been upset that they bent the album slightly. I am just slightly worried that we will exceed our handluggage allowance, we plan to pack absolutely everything other than our tickets, passports and of course our photos...do you think we will be ok.

so many people have said they are heavy - but just HOW heavy are they likely to be? I know it will differ slightly, as the amount of photo's will depend on what he's taken, but any estimate would help with peace of mind. Thanks!

I never weighed mine, but I had to double disney large back them and then carried them as hand luggage. They are not light weight at all. I think I had 3 full books and then smaller container of photos if that makes sense. I also had Randy for a breakfast event, rehearsal dinner, pre-ceremony, ceremony, and Illuminations.

Yeah we where both a bit gutted about the album but as long as we have the pictures thats the main thing isn't it!

I will weigh mine tonight for you to give you an idea, the box it came in was slightly heavy but if that is all you are carrying I dont see it being a problem, Randy had taken around loads of shots in the 3 hours and printed off most of them for us in the album and then also gave us a small box full of loose ones too. :)

Will let you know the weight later on tonight, what package are you going for?

That is great if you could weigh them. We are going for the intimate wedding pacakge $575, is this the one where you get an album or a box with the photos in, not to sure.

yep the same as me, you get an album with as many prints in there as he can squeeze in and then because he couldnt fit them all in he gave us a small 4 x 6 box full of prints too and still dont think they where all printed off!

He is a fantastic guy, even helped my Mum and sister fasten my dress because they forgot! bless him!
