We have now decided that we are going to (hopefully) use Randy Chapman for our intimate wedding photography.

Compared to what disney offers we get soooo much more with Randy and an album also.

Are there are past intimates that have used Randy before??

Hi

I'm not a past bride - but if you look under the link of photo's Sam booked through Randy her photo's are great.

We have also decided to book through Randy as we though his photo's were just what we were looking for.

I've seen Sam's photos and yes they are lovely.

We just felt that although you get a photography package in the intimate add on, it just wasn't alot, you only get 12 pictures and those you can't pick yourself.

With Randy he offers so much more.

Lisa, I totally agree! While I think it's great that Disney includes photography in their package, it is anything but impressive. We really want to book Randy for our Oct. 2005 wedding. I'm just waiting for a call back on the packages and pricing. But even though I don't know the exact cost, I'm still pretty sure we are going to book him if he's available. I've read nothing but great things about him on this board.

I'm hoping that Disney will just give me a slight credit towards the MK bridal portraits since I'm not using their package, but they don't seem to want to budge. They just keep offering me the Honeymoon photo package, which now I'm thinking might be kind of fun. I guess I'll just have to see what happens...

Has anyone ever mentioned to Randy about the rave reviews he gets here on the DIS? I bet he'd love to hear it!! Maybe he'd even offer a discount for saying we heard about him on the DIS! hehehe...a girl can dream!

We are also trying to get credit towards the MK Photo Session, but so far have been offered the 30 minute portrait session at MK. This isn't anything that we want so we have emailed back again to see if we can budge them if not we will just do without. They don't even seem to be offering the honeymoon package to us.

Has Stephanie at DPS been your contact regarding this? Because what's weird is my SM told me to email Stephanie to ask if the credit toward the MK session would be possible. So I did and when she finally responded she told me that we could trade the wedding package for the 1-2 hour Honeymoon package and pay $50 extra for more photos, that was it. There is another poster on here that asked Stephanie about it, too and Stephanie didn't even mention the extras for paying for $50 more. That when she asked about the option, Stephanie was surprised that she knew anything about it. And now, they aren't even offering anything like that to you!! I've heard of not getting the same answer from two or three CM's, but not different answers from the same one! I wonder why she is so random when it comes to giving information

Yes it is Stephanine that we are dealing with at DPS.

To be honest I don't see what the problem is, its not as if they are loosing out, we are quite prepared to pay to upgrade from the portrait session they are offering to the MK photo session, but it seems they aren't having any of it.

We will probably end up not boring with DPS at all and just use Randy for our photos.

Randy did my intimate wedding and he was wonderful to work with. The pictures came out lovely.

We are also just going to use Randy as opposed to DPS. However, if we do decide to do the MK session, we'll just have to suck it up and use them. Even though I still don't understand why they won't budge. Now, I just hope the castle isn't gold when we get there...I know some people are looking forward to it, so I feel like "Debbie Downer" when I say that I'm actually bummed about it.
