Random, weird stuff in your purse?

Ok- I just looked- my purse is recently cleaned out-so the only "odd" thing other than a small bag of random over the counter/prescription drugs- just in case I get sick or someone with me does...

is a restraint key- they kind they use to unlock leather restraints used in the psych hospital

Work does lead to interesting things- a psych key (I am assuming it's not used on you!). I have a crumber in my purse-it is a little gold thing with a pen clip on it used to crumb tables.

OK!- I once dumped out my purse and found5 Carmexes. Dh was like- uh...you have a problem.

My family swears I was Mary Poppins in a former life. A woman at the school bookfair needed an extra camera battery - oh wait, I have those; scissors, coupons, crayons, paper, a three year calendar, enough mints to feed the entire state, 3 tubes of lipstick, aspirin, a small handheld tape recorder and tapes (you never know when you may need this one) LOL, a novel that I have only read one half of, pens, pencils, a pencil sharpener and plenty of snacks.

No wonder my back hurts!

I had a thong in my purse at one point. lol...i got to work one day ( i work in construction with all guys) and my bright pink thong was stuck in the leg of my jeans that I had pulled out of the dryer that morning. the thong fell out by my desk. Luckily I don't think anyone seen it. lol

These cracked me up.


I can't beat those. The weirdest things I have are a clothespin painted and decorated like a parrot.. you know for when you feel like a pirate.

I also found a little container of ranch dressing in there from Wendy's. I think I bought it home to use with carrots, but forgot about it. I am not exactly sure how long it has been in there, but it is now in the trash. I am really glad that it didn't leak in my purse.

If you don't mind my asking, are they latex gloves? I'm sure I would totally appreciate any needed CPR, but the anaphylaxis that would come with the gloves might suck. Luckily I also have an Epi pen in my purse. Does that count as weird?

I'm embarrassed to say I have no idea. It was a kit that was given to us by the company that taught us the first aid/CPR/AED, but I never thought to ask. I will now though!

Well - I have a bunch of dried mustard in my backpack - I put a partially eaten hot dog in there, and it came unwrapped. Plus I have 2 packages of sauerkraut - which I don't even like.

I have an extra purse inside of my purse... you never know when you might need to down size.

I do that all of the time. I have a Vera Bradley mini-hipster inside my Vera Bradley backpack (along with the mustard and sauerkraut).

A kitty toy (little furry mouse with a bell on it) - like someone said, the purse goes on the floor, cat toys get inside when kitty is playing

And - ohh, this is a good one - a rolled-up paper copy of a chorus (Jauchzet, frohlocket) from Bach's Christmas Oratorio. I've been singing it in choir!

Tiny plastic 'snow' flakes.

A couple weekends ago, our town held the annual Christmas parade, which DH, DS and I got to be on a float. Some genius decided to give a few of the kids on the float these ziploc baggies of plastic snow to throw at the crowd as we went by. Only they threw it at each other and it got all in my hair, in my mouth (I swallowed plastic snow! ) and in my purse.

Knee pads. They are DD's from softball. She took them off and didn't want to go back to the trunk to put them in her gear bag. So into my purse they went.

I found three finger puppets, some scotch tape and Ken's (as in Barbie and Ken) swim trunks. My purse is rapidly becoming another one of my children's toy containers.
