Random TSA luggage question

Has anyone ever traveled with a bunch of those little containers restaurants give you for sauces, salad dressing, etc.? They're only 2oz, so theoretically they should be okay going through TSA screening, but I don't know for sure. I was thinking of portioning out peanut butter, jelly, cream cheese, etc. I realize I could do a grocery delivery, but there's no way we'd use a whole regular container of those things (5 day trip), so it just seems wasteful to trash nearly full jars of food. We won't be checking bags either down or back, so everything must be carry-on-able.

Thoughts?

I highly suggest looking specifically what they say about the following
Light Saber and
Magic 8 Ball

Funny I have actually been through TSA with a Magic 8 Ball. I have an autistic son. He packed his own carry on bag of hats (he likes hats). Bag got pulled by TSA. They found the Magic 8 ball (I had no idea it was in there). TSA agent was training and did not know if they were allowed (at the time I don't think they were addressed). She kept calling for backup but no one came. Finally my husband said "Why don't you just ask the Magic 8 Ball?" She did and Magic 8 Ball said "Forever". It was a Love Magic 8 Call. She shrugged and let us go with the Magic 8 Ball in hand. Definitely received a little Magic that day.
