Daisy sat at the Gryffindor table on her first day. She absent mindedly took a piece of toast, and put Marmite on it, before snapping back into reality, and remembering Marmite was her only hate in this world. She couldnt help it, she was just so mesmerized by the whole experience of Hogwarts. The table was already busy with Gryffindors chatting loudly and eating greedily. She gave a small inward shudder of excitement, of the years to come at Hogwarts. She looked opposite her, at a small boy she recognized from the previous night at the feast. She noticed he was staring into his breakfast, and two drops of water fell from his face into his food. "Don't cry!" Daisy exclaimed. The boy looked up at her, through his bloodshot eyes, and gave a small sob. "Are you homesick?" Daisy asked. The boy nodded. Daisy took pity on him, and comforted him.

anyone have any ways i could improve it?
