Lol. I haven't read much about the Titanic, just seen the movie, but it sounds interesting.

The cover made me buy it.

DYK that there's a book that's about a boat called the Titan. It's pretty much the story of the Titanic. The creepy thing is, it was written about 14 years before the boat sank!

Yeah, it was mentioned in here. I'm trying to find it, but I can't.

There is a part at the beginning that says:
"I have had three or four very striking and vivid premonitions in my life which have been fulfilled to the letter. I have others which await fulfilment. Of the latter, I will not speak here--although I have them duly recorded--for were I to do so I should be accused of being party to bringing the fulfilment of my own predictions"

-W.T. Stead, famed British journalist who did not survive the sinking of the Titanic but predicted it.

I went and found my book. It's all about ships to do with Liverpool, apparantly. It also says that there's a Titanic Memorial statue here that I've never even seen..

The Doctor Who audio play The Wreck of the Titan (audio drama), released by Big Finish Productions in May 2010, is partly inspired by this novella, and features the characters of John and Myra.

That was on the page. Interesting.

Anyway, yeah, that's pretty creepy.
Especially to do with the weight, length and all.
Luckily more people were saved on the Titanic than on the Titan.

'There will be extensive commemorations in the UK and US to mark Titanic's centenary in April 2012. Liverpool City Council is already planning a year of events leading up to this date.'
Oooo, boat events. :]

So did the Titanic sail from Liverpool?

Sulphur aerosols... They can cool the Earth, similar to a volcanic eruption? Awesome! Why aren't we using this already? Wait... $50 billion every 2 years?!? What...? WHAT?!?

I'm more into trains than boats. Although I do love the ferry at WDW. lol.

But, I really, really want to ride on a train at somepoint in my life.

Do you mean like an average train trip, or an extended one like the Hogwarts Express?

It doesn't matter.
I just want to ride on a train.

I wanted to take a train to Chicago.
That would be awesome.
Since I hate planes and get tired in cars.

Are there no trains where you live then? There's a train station about 10 mins away from my house.

Nope, but it was registered here and it was White Star Line which was a Liverpool company.

Lol I just love boats. And planes. Mostly boats. I'm cool. xD

My brother and his friends got trains all over Europe a few years ago. Apparantly it was awesome.

Many environmentalists don't like geoengineering because it allows pollution to continue, then applies a 'fix' to clean it up.

So they'll like renewable energy sources like solar panels and wind farms, but not things like synthetic trees or carbon sinks.

72 hours! I'm feeling weird....but yeah 72 hours!

I know, it's saddening.
I want to move to the UK.
Boo.

They finally mentioned the Titanic.
But they didn't actually say Titanic.
They just said "For a transatlantic crossing on an ocean liner". So the Titanic is going from the US to England.
