Christmas Break is now called "Winter Break"
I still call it Christmas Break, IDC what the school says. I'm calling it Christmas Break, always have and always will.

Namumutan ta ka.

And most New Yorkers say sear-up. Pretty much anyone in Northern Virginia and higher says sear-up.

And it's not a complete mess, there's an easy way of doing it.

Ah yeah, I'm the odd one out down here.

I'm sure there is, I probably would never get the hang of it, I'd be spilling milk by the gallon.

Ngo oi ney.

And my mum always pours it into a jug first. I don't know anyone who actually tries to pour it from the bag each time :rotfl:

Only A Southerner
Knows...

Only a Southerner knows the difference
between a hissie fit and a conniption
fit, and that you don't "HAVE" them
but "PITCH" them.

Only a Southerner knows how many
fish, collard greens, turnip greens,
peas, beans, etc., make up "a mess."

Ne-mehotatse.

Haha it's OK, that's what my neighbour thought we did. We had a few bags of milk with us when we first moved here (they're more eco-friendly) and my neighbour tried pouring one into a cup...it worked but we didn't tell her until after that she didn't have to do that haha.

LOL, pah-stuh xD it's paw-stuh FUNNY STUFF.
Surry! Sur-up... I say Sear-up

Dude. Do Canadians really have milk in bags?
i say pah-stah and sih-rup
Holong rohangku di ho.

And yes, our milk comes in bags. It tastes plenty fine to us!

And I say sore-y not surry. No one says surry. And I say sir-up.
i say sorry sore-y too.

canadian accents sound like scottish, american and british to me.

aboot sounds scottish, thats how they say it.

Only a Southerner knows exactly how
long "directly" is - as in: "Going to
town, be back directly."

[Typically 'directly' is about an hour. But that's just how I use it]

Canadian accents are like the middle American accent but pronounced the same way the British do.

AKA we enunciate.

Mi aime jou.
