But it's not really orange, it's apricot. QI fact. ;D

That's supposed to be a myth that QI got wrong. I also just checked the ingredients and there's no mention of apricot in it...

Closest I could find to it having apricot was someone saying that 70% of the jam is apricot, and the rest is Jaffa oranges.

Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Plain Chocolate (20%)[Sugar, Cocoa Mass, Vegetable Fat, Butter Oil, Emulsifiers (Soya Lecithin, E476), Cocoa Butter, Natural Vanilla Flavouring], Sugar, Wheat Flour, Whole Egg, Water, Dextrose Monohydrate, Concentrated Orange Juice (8% Orange Juice Equivalent), Glucose Syrup, Citric Acid, Humectant (Glycerine), Gelling Agent (Pectin), Vegetable Oil, Raising Agents (Ammonium Bicarbonate, Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Dried Whole Egg, Natural Flavourings, Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate), Natural Colour (Curcumin)

That's the ingredients of a Jaffa Cake. I didn't write it out, I copied it from a website, but it's the same. The closest that apricot could be on that list is in natural flavourings, which is the 3rd least used ingredient in the mix. There you go.
