Me: So... Yankees are in first place, right? Like, out of all the teams in both leagues?

Him: Yes

Me: And... whose in second place?

Him: Tampa Bay

Me: And, whose Tampa playing today?

Him: Them

Me: And do we want Boston to win?

Him: Yes

Me: What place is Boston in?

Him: Oh, they're not even in the top, we don't need to worry about them

Me: So, they're not doing good?

Him: No. They've been doing so much better in years past

Me: So, the Sux have nothing over us?

I don't think so. Wiktionary describes it as "A working-class youth, especially one associated with aggression, poor education, and a perceived "common" taste in clothing and lifestyle".
