Random Refund

We're going on our first cruise this coming May. Cruise and gratuity have been paid in full more months now. I was just looking at my bank account and noticed that we got a $56 credit in our account today from DCL. I couldn't find anything out about it through our reservation page. About to shoot off an email to our travel agent, but does anyone know what this would be for?

Mostly this happens when port charges change.

Port taxes and fees changed. They estimate them, and if they are more DCL eats the cost but if less (usually) they refund them.

Thanks! I was worried that it might have had something to do with pre-paying our gratuities and didn't want any extra surprises when I got on board.

Didn't even think about taxes changing. I'll gladly take back any money that Disney wants to give me.

Taxes. Dug720 is correct.

When I went to pay my balance they called back a few minutes later and said it was ~$40 less.
