Hoping DD9 will want to go to playground camp so I can read a bit today. The YMCA (which is a half hour away) runs a county program with neighborhood parks. They have supervision (college kids) who play with the kids, do games and crafts, provide lunch, watch them swim at the public pool.... GREAT program. THey bus them there from little parks around town to the "main" park. It is free!!!!!!!!!!! Every day from 10-2. Amazing, isn't it? It is fun for DD to go to the public pool, lots of friends, though she rarely even gets in, just socializes. She says the water is cold. Spoiled girl by our heated pool!
