Random Questions 10/6

I imagine there will be some with much lower numbers but the $102,500 I paid back in 1995 seems like so little now.

Zillow values it at $202,000 now.

Really it hasn't even doubled in 26 years? That is pretty shocking.

$22,400 new all brick suburban ranch - 2 car garage - 1967 - Two young city newly-weds scared to death while watching it built.

55 years later in same house. Worth minimum $350.

Unlimited seems a bit excessive, so I'll limit mine to three.

Stephen Curry, because I've heard of him crashing a random house party in Rhode Island when he was in town for a wedding.

Guillermo Rodriguez, since he's probably bringing tequila.

Scarlett Johansson, and I don't need a reason.

First rent was about $1200 in 2000 in NJ. I had a roommate at the time.
First house was 350k in 2004 in Texas and now worth about 800k.

First apartment: $400 for a 2 bedroom flat in 1996
First house: $99K for a 3bd/2bth ranch in 2004

Jimmy Carr
Carr would either be the greatest or worst guest at a party, because he's funny, but I'm sure many people take his comedy as going way over the line.

I'd probably start with some local athletes - Andre de Grasse (Sprinter) and Jordan Romano (Blue Jays).
Add in some more Canadians - Ryan Reynolds, Vladimir Guerrero Jr, George Strombolopoulos, Susur Lee, Russell Peters
Hong Kongers - Siobhan Haughey (swimmer), Bruce Lee (if he were still alive), John Woo, Alan Tam (HK Cantopop singer from the 80s. Hey it's my list)
And then some Americans - Alton Brown, Big Dave Bautista, Blake Lively (seems rude to invite Reynolds but not his wife), Elmore Leonard (if he were still alive)
Some Europeans - Dolph Lundgren, Cat Deeley, Melanie C
Whichever KPop girl group my daughters are fans of. I think it's Twice, but it might be BLACKPINK.

And finally, John Cena. But no one would believe that he's there, because you can't see him.

Located in Columbus Georgia. A town with a huge military retired population. Cost of living is low and growth is SLOW.

My current home in Gwinnett County Georgia, a county that was the fastest growing in the US for many years in the 80’s and 90’s was purchased for $380,000 in 2005. Dropped to $200,000 during the 2009 housing collapse and has just recently seen a move into positive gain at $550,000.

My first house was a 3/1.5 townhouse that I paid around $90K in 2001 for and ended up selling it 3 years later for $126K.
