Just thinking August 2015 dates. Does anyone know specifically when the English school system GSCE results come out? I think DS would want to be at home for that. I know there are teachers on here so hoping someone can help

AFAIK it's either by post or collection in person.

Could you see if a friend or relative could collect your post and phone with the results?

We have the same issue this year,we will be in WDW when my daughters GCSE results come out. She spoke to her head of year and they told her that someone can pick them up and then phone them through to us. The school will then call the next day to sort out A-levels etc. We are hoping it will be a good way to celebrate her great achievements by being in WDW!Fingers crossed anyway!
We chose the end of August to go to Florida as we thought it may be a little quieter as the US kids will have gone back to school.

I had a similar issue quite a few years back now, we just got a relative to collect and email them through to us! Worked out fine!

Thank you all for the advice. I think on balance I will change our dates and book to arrive back in the UK the day of the results. This is going to put about £500 on the cost of the holiday and the crowds will be much bigger so I'm a bit irritated, but don't think I can cope with dealing with this and the possibility of having to change A Level choices from Orlando. My son doesn't care about been away though, I asked him so I'm not totally decided. Hmmmm.......
