Good afternoon!

Back from swim meet, DD9's goggles broke right before her debut event. DD9 is prone to overreacting, so there were some tears and hysteria, but another girl lent her a pair to use (which were not nearly as special as the ones that broke, but they did indeed work). I gave her a pep talk about "its not the goggles, its YOU" which she didn't really buy into. But she won the event, so when she dripped back to the stands, she was all smiles and high fives again.
(she made me promise to buy another pair of goggles exactly like the ones that broke, but no longer drama queen).

be nice to have swimming smiley here, let me see what I can find
