Welcome wardfamily!
I see a McCain in your siggy. I am worried about his education views (not fixing No Child Left Behind, no money for preschool programs) Where is Ross Perot when I need him? I am NOT political at all, not trying to ruffle feathers, I am a teacher and need some educational reforms for ALL of us.

...what SHE said....

...what 'Exit'..?? ;)

:lmao: I was in Italy once and met a guy. We were talking and I mentioned I was from NJ. He then says to me, "NJ huh, what exit?" I looked at him like he was crazy. I mean, how would an Italian guy know to ask that right? Turns out he had friends that live in NY and said they told him that when he meets someone from NJ, it's proper to ask them what exit they're from. :rotfl2:

I'm 105 by the way. But I work up at 140.

....where do I begin???? Lessee - Orlando Bloom, the end of the school year, PITA DH's, neighbors from H*LL, David Cook, AKL, Hugh Jackman, ZEBRA DOMES [ :hyper: ], SYTYCD,....

okay: the end of the school year...YEAH!
neighbors from H*LL, sorry about that. We have good neighbors for the most part, except one who I just tend to avoid. We love to host "fires" in the evening which are really just sit around a small firepit, drink beer and talk about nothing while the kids run around and collect lightning bugs. Good times!
AKL-love it.
Hugh Jackman-only know him from his visits to the View and People magazine blurbs
PITA DH's-its a given. What do you want sympathy on, I am sure I can give it!

Can I join in I LOVE to chat  Here is my random question, has anyone seen the Bucket List? We just rented it and I am curious if it is any good!

Highlight to read the spoiler:

I haven't seen it but people that I know who have said it's more depressing than funny. That kind of discouraged me from renting it.

love your countdown......feeling hot hot hot myself in August!
haven't seen the Bucket List, heard it was a good one, though. Be sure to review it for us, and I will get it at Redbox!:cool1:

What is this Red Box? This is the third time I've seen it on the DIS today. :confused3

Great minds think alike, I was just thinking that after I watch it I would have to come back and give a review!

Thanks for the compliment on my ticker! I am a little nervous about the August heat:confused: Got any good tips?

Good tip! We burn boxes and newspapers and last year I caught the woods behind our house on fire (needed the fire dept to come put it out). I don't allow myself to burn the newspapers anymore, signed up with recycling to just have it picked up!

Does anyone like to play the games on Webkinz or Zwinky? I love Cash Cow and Alphapets. My DD's love that I rack up points for them (though I am not allowed to buy anything on either site):rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Redbox is a movie (DVD) kiosk box in supermarkets. It costs one dollar per night to rent a movie. Every monday, they will send you a code to rent one that day for FREE (new releases come out on Tuesdays in redbox). A buck, can't be beat! Blockbuster is at least four times that (but you can keep them longer) I think Redbox is the greatest thing since sugar coated cereal!

The children I babysit are addicted to webkinz...the oldest has over 20 :scared1: I just can't see spending that much money on something she is going to eventually get tired of. Having 1 or 2 is ok but 20 is crazy :confused3
I have never hear of Zwinky, is it similar to Webkinz?

We are going in August too, and always vacation in August because our life revolves around little league baseball......
Anyway, my tip is to get up early, be at rope drop at the parks, and ride without lines while most are still sleeping. THen, when it gets hot (around lunchtime) either leave and go for a swim or have a nice AC lunch somewhere. If you can, convince the family to nap during the hottest part of the day, and you can enjoy the parks again in the cooler evening. THey will need a nap anyway when you rouse them all for rope drop!
We love the waterparks, too!

I wish I had thought of Webkinz, the marketing is great. My DD's have several each, because it was all they asked for as birthday presents from their friends. I haven't bought them a single one.
Zwinky is more for the preteen crowd, I think. It is free to join the online site, and you earn points to buy stuff online for your "doll". It has a chat room aspect too, but my girls only play the games and dress up their zwinky girls.

That is my exact plan :) Each day we get up early to make it for opening and we come back to our hotel for at least a 2 hour rest each day...hopefully my plan will work:thumbsup2

Has anyone every done the Segway Tour? My parents and I are doing it this year and I am curious what kind of things you get to see and do!

snowwhite, I see you are staying at POP. We loved it there last year! Offsite this year, but loved all the theming at POP!

It is my new favorite resort I absolutely LOVE it  I cannot wait to get back and go shopping at Everything Pop and eat at the food court!

What are your dates for August?
