Since Niagara Falls is just a short drive away (from me) I am almost positive that you now need your passport to get in. I do know that many of the NY politicians were trying to fight it so it may have changed

On www.about.com it said that you have to have a passport to travel to Canada by land (over the border) in the Summer of 2009. However, I would recommend brining one.

See, bringing one would be a problem....only DH has an active one. Way too expensive to get passports for the rest of us for a day trippie.

Well, I just checked the Government of Canada website, and it said that it is not required until June 1st 2009. So your good

I just checked with my mom and she said you can get in with a birth certificate and that they are coming out with a new driver's license that will let you get in without a passport.

I know that we took my cousin to the falls last July and she got in with just her birth certificate.
