Well good bye for now guys!! I have to go pick up DH now, this was his last class at University, so he is thrilled (so am I, it has been a rough few years!!) Now he applies for graduation, which takes place in October, hopefully not while we are away!!

Doing OK...had a confrontation on the road with some jerk while I was driving DH to school!!!! Then I cried all the way home...lol I was going to do some thereputic shopping, BUT DH had my bank card still(his just broke last night), so no shopping for me!!! LOL He just called and said he will be ready in 20 mins!! Yay, wasn't expecting him for another 2 hours!!

We just recently built a new house. We have been in it for 6 months. We were out here every day looking at things. It was so exciting. I hope your build is going well.

I think DCT meant our new house on the part deux thread!

We built our house, broke ground on DS's first birthday, so we have been in it for 14 years. It was so fun picking out everything. We were on the "do it yourself" kick for a lot of things, so we stained all the woodwork ourselves, put the yard in ourselves, did some little things like screw the handles on the kitchen cupboards. We had the walls plastered, and I have still only painted the family room, dining room, our bedroom. Everything else is still white plaster. We really didn't have any big problems with the build. We are pretty easygoing folk. A few years after we build, DH put the pool in. Himself! An inground one. He is a HR manager, not a contractor, but it was something he thought he could do. It is great!
