Having to wake up at 6:30AM for a dentist appt. pretty much sux! After approx. 12 shots of novacaine, I finally got numb. As predicted I had a nerve exposed so he went in and cut it back and put some meds up in the infected area. He then closed it back up and I will be going in for the full root canal at the end of the week.
He gave me a strong antibiotic and STRONG pain killers as he warned me I will be in some serious pain for the next two days.

I'm off to early bird soccer games this morning & then shopping, shopping

COLD morning for soccer (hope you are indoors)
DH and DS went turkey looking (not in season yet) at six AM.
The whole was40 family is bascially NUTS!

My whole mouth is hurting just thinking about it.
And I don't think you can share the drinks Judi left for me last night.
No alcohol with strong drugs........

Dairy Queen cake!

trying to take a pic of DH frantically trying to get the candles out. DD wanted those relighting candles, and they do work. They relight and relight, and then DH tried to douse them. And he was getting burned....so he started throwing them in the sink. Cute sink, right?

Clean up time.
DH and I have very different ideas of what constitutes mess.
He said there was no mess in the kitchen
and when I arrived there, I almost fainted (the floor, mostly)

he was just in the basement and said
"have you seen the basement"
with an odd tone

so I am to even go down there


plus the dining room looks like
well


like 11 girls had a party in there!
