If they don't do it, this virus will be making the rounds in that school.
I'm surprised that she got something new. I thought that being that she just had it, that she'd be immune to it. Maybe, she never really got over it.

New strain, I'm guessing. Flu shots didn't work to well this year.

if pillow forms are 14 inch squares
and you want to leave four inches on each side
how many pillows can you get out of a yard of fabric

luckily, the material cutter had a calculator


DD12 picked lime green for one side of the pillow
and white with multicolored dots and embroidered on ducks (randomly embroidered on, maybe one per pillow will occur)

and, lucky for us
they had printed directions right there (for free) at the cutting station

we hopped into Krispy Kreme
so DD could get her free donuts with the report card

which isn't really her dinner
though one might think it is
since she didn't want anything else

too busy texting her friends to describe the fabric for the pillows

mix equal parts elmers glue
and liquid fabric starch
in a ziplock baggie
sqrunching it until they mix completely

and you will have that "fantastic plastic" stuff
like they sell on TV
to blow amazing bubbles (use a straw, put a blob on the end, seal it to the straw, blow slowly)

and it is reusable, unlike the fantastic plastic bubbles

the lesson was actually the water cycle
