Random Harry Potter thought

My theory - for what it is worth, is that somehow Malfoy will play a big part in defeating Voldermort. Not quite sure what makes me think that other than that Dumbledore made him a prefect despite all his "badness" so he must see something in him...... much like Snape, who Malfoy is so close to.....

That's an interesting theory...kind of like what happened at the end of GOF when the wands met and all those killed by Voldy came out of his wand.

There are so many "hidden" little hints and things in the books that the theories are running wild. (Has anyone read the "Unofficial Guides"?)

There is definately something going on with Aunt Petunia, Snape and Neville and his parents (who are in the loony bin, basically). I also wonder about that 10 year old Mark Evans mentioned, as Evans was Lilly and Petunia's maiden name.

I can NOT wait for the movie on June 4th, nor can I wait for the next book installment. To help my addiction, I've been re-reading all the books and reading the "Unofficial Guides".

If you love th H. P. books then I suggest you pick up and read The Unofficial Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter. I think that is the title...if not, it's pretty darn close! The authors have scoured through the books and have very interesting theories! I could not put this book down!!! You will love it and I can't even go into the book because I don't want to give away any spoilers even if they are just theoretical!

By the way, I picked up this book on a recommendation from another DISer. Thanks!

Anyone remember the movie Jumanji? (That's what came to mind when I read your random thought) When they finally got to the end of the game, everything was undone, including the fact that he disappeared for so many years.

I think why they talk about Neville's parents so much is because through the books we are going to see Neville turn into a great Aurour. His parents were Aurours and although Neville struggles in school - under Harry's direction in Dumbledoor's Army we say him greatly improve in is DDA.

The idea of "Behind the curtain" or "behind the veil" goes back to mythology - I don't think Sirius is coming back anytime soon. But hopefully we will find out why he had to die because I also believe that it was pretty pointless.
