Now this is a Disneyland issue, but I think it could probably apply to both parks.

Anyways we have a six year old who has autism that we are taking to Disneyland in October. We've done a lot of work with crowds and lines so I'm not to concerned about that. The problem I'm running into is looking at the menus at some of the sit down restaurants there isn't a lot that he'll eat due to his food issues. What I'm wondering is if they'll let me bring in some food from some of the counter service restaurants for him? Would I even need a GAC for that?

GACs are not actually used for places like restaurants, so having one probably would not make a difference for the restaurants one way or another.

I know at WDW, the chefs have gotten food that is not served at their restaurant for people with special needs (I specifically remember someone getting chicken nuggets at all the restaurants at WDW because that was what their son would eat). I don't have anything about DL, except there is a link in the disABILITIES FAQs thread in post #3 that was an interview with Disneyland chefs about food allergies. At WDW, they handle other special diets and allergies the same.
