I bought a SUPER cute pair yesterday...they were cranberry colored and they had martinis on them.
I was on my lunch break, so I was moving fast through the store. Grabbed a medium, go the rest of my stuff, and went back to work.

Tried on the jammies at home - they are GINORMOUS on me! I got out my reciept so I could return them and noticed they were MEN'S PJ's.

but they were with the 'ladies' pj's? whatever...

anywho..if you have these PJ's...in flannel...do they shrink ALOT after washing/drying?

Thanks!

I did the Nick and Nora PJ's and they were very neat. They have them for the whole family. We were looking at the kids selection for some Christmas pictures. I would agree that they looked fairly large for the size but we didn't buy any so I don't have any shrinking tips. I also saw some cute Disney PJ's at Khol's for women. They were fleece bottoms with cotton shirt (Mickey, Tinker Bell, Eeyore etc)....looked very cozy.

I have a pair of the garden gnomes print...VERY cute. They shrank a bit but not much. You might want to exchange them.

I noticed that depending on the Target I was in (there are like 5 of them near me) they had those PJ's in different sections. I've seen the gnome ones in the women's section in one store and the men's in another. Same with the martini ones.

I guess they are unisex? Or the Target workers are just confused! I got my brother a pair of the deer ones in a XXL but he's a big guy!

I have a pair of Nick and Nora's that are HUGE on me. My sisters BF at the time, was convinced they were going to shrink (b/c his had) but mine never did. So I wear a pair of XL when I'm usually a S/M.

My mom bought be a pair from target (my XMAS present ;) ) I think I picked out the small, b/c even those looked big. I probably would've been fine w/ a M too. Mine have pink flamingos on them :teeth:

They have both men's and women's at target. (I've seen the men's in men's and the women's in women's)

oh yeah - these are definetly being exchanged tonight! heheh
The crotche comes down to about mid-thigh, even after I roll the top once, but the top is just WAY too big to be even "oversized" on me.

I'll try them on tonight before I buy them for sure! But I was just wondering when i DID purchase my correct size, how much they would shrink.

thanks!

Now I'm worried... I bought a pair for DD11, they have snowglobes on them (she collects them) and I thought they would be perfect for her. I got them a little big thinking they would shrink (plus she hates wearing anything tight), maybe I should have gone with the smaller size.

curious, is Nick and Nora a brand or does it have to do with Nick and Nora Charles?

I've been looking for a size small in the flamingo pattern for DD, but I've looked at 5 Targets and all they've had is L to 3XL. I guess if they run so big, all the mediums and larges have been buying the smalls.

Nick and Nora has been around for a while. I got my older pair at Nordstroms and they are a lot more $ there than at Target. So I'm assuming they have a special line that they're selling there. I've actually gone to Nick and Nora sample sales and got some great stuff. I'm not sure if Nick and Nora Charles and Nick and nora are the same though

omg - the flamingo ones are ADORABLE! But of course, at "my Target" they only had them in L and XL as well!

So I returned the cocktail ones (and at THIS target THOSE were in the men's section! heheh) And I bought 2 ( ) pairs of Pj's...

Downhill Duck
(beige with a rubber ducky skiing...so cute!)
Sock Monkey

So cute...so soft...so comfy. I bought the LADIES medium this time and they fit perfectly. A little bit all around (and I don't wear pants at my 'natural' waist, I wear the lower, so I did have to "roll" them once, but I do that with all my lounge pants. I probably could have done with a small...but the medium top fit me perfectly (and smaller and teh sleeves woudl have been too short for me)

and yes - this is "nick and nora - FOR TARGET" (like Izac Mizrahi and Liz Lange FOR TARGET) A "cheaper version" of thier looks.

See here for the original if you are interested...their pj sets run over $80. (eep - I'm ok with $50 for 2 pairs! heheh)

Nick and Nora PJ's usually run $80...

$24.99
heheheh
remember...it's their "made for TARGET" line.

Even though they are "made for Target" they are fabulous! Thicker and softer than my other flannels. I really want the sock monkey ones and the flamingos but my Target is out of them. I'm still stunned I got the garden gnomes!

the target I went to had TONS of gnome ones.

they had gnomes, snowglobes, sock money, and down hill duck in tons of sizes....however the clouds and ice flamingo were only available in the very large sizes.

I even slept in the pants last night...on flannel sheets...and didn't die of heat. Of course, Mr. Heat Mieser I live with keeps the house around 64. heheh
