Ramone VS. Luigi

I read yesterday where somebody suggested that when riding RSR, the car that lines up to the right (the one that goes through Ramone's instead of Luigi's) seems to win the final race much more often.

Not that it matters of course, but I think it would be interesting to learn if this is true or not.

I won't get to ride until August, but I'm guessing it would be more fun to line up on the right - not because you win or lose, but because you would get to go on the high side of the track during the speed turn.

Any opinions?

Which side won when you rode?

EDIT: It appears this is simply a rumor. Reports below suggest the outcome is entirely random...

We won on both sides. Of 5 rides, once we didn't race anyone, and we had 2 wins, 2 losses.

Went through Ramone's 3 times and Luigi's once. Won only one out of the 4 times and it was going through Ramone's.

Won once on both sides, and lost once on Ramones. I really don't think there's a science to it.

Went thru Luigi's twice and Ramone's twice. Only won once, thru Ramone's.
I guess the upper track is a bit more fun now that I think about it. :)

Oh well, I guess that squelches that rumor even before it started.
Thanks for the info.

Well MY question is which side is more interesting to do? Only rode it 3 times so far, but all three times have only gotten Ramones so far. Is Luigis side more/less interesting for people who done both?

And yes, out of the three times, won once, lost twice, if that means anything.

I would go with Luigis as the best but it's nice to see both. Better luck next time.

I have been on 6 times. 3 times each side. Lucky about that I guess. I have never been in a car that won a race. I like going into Lugi's better but I like the high track on the second turn.

Well tonight I went on both sides and won. So I am going with completely random.

We have experienced RSR 9 times. My husband's theory is that the car that is first to exit the building once the race starts will lose. This has been the case 9 out of 9 times for us.

I like racing both sides. It's fun not knowing which way you're going to race. :)

I'm a little confused. How do you pick which side??? How do you know if its Ramone or Luigi?? Thanks

SPOILER ALERT: you may not want to read the answer if you'd prefer to be surprised on the ride.
There is a point on the ride where your car goes either left (to Luigi's) or right (to Ramone's) this determines which side of the track you will be on in the final race.

I went on June 14th, rode RSR 3 times, all on Luigi's, and won each time. Hoping to actually see Ramone's today. :)

We rode twice, both times we went to Ramons. One time we won, one time we lost. The time we won, we were the first to exit the building.
