Ramone is Yellow???

We just got back from Mcdonalds and our toy is a Ramone car from the movie CARS. He's yellow. I thought he was purple. Can someone tell me why he's be yellow? Thanks.

Our McDonalds had both green and yellow Ramones. No purple ones at all

I guess they offered different colors since he repaints himself daily.

I don't understand why McDonald's website showed him purple but didn't offer a purple one (at least our McD's did not)

There are different versions of each car. I think there are 34 or 35 different ones with only 8 different characters.

We got 3 Maters the first day and my dks noticed that they all had different faces. The eyes were different on them. Then we ended up with 2 different Doc Hudson's, again the eyes were looking in different directions.

The "dirty" Lightening McQueens are selling pretty good on Ebay, but I haven't seen one of those yet.

I know that ds would be disappointed if we got a Ramone and it wasn't the purple one.

We got a green Ramone, which I thought was very strange. I'm glad I found this thread.

It is because he repaints himself through out the movie. I don't know how many times but you have to pay attention to him. He does it often.
