we stayed aug 27th for one night for a quick disney weekend trip.

This time is was a two double bed room. it was nice and clean. we were on the lower level right across from the pool/continental breakfast room. i was quite pleased with how quiet the room was.

there was a 5 person family next door with 1 infant and two young ones around 8 or so and i didnt even notice the noise from their room.

another interesting tidbit, kaelynn sp?, who works at the front counter told me something interesting. i mentioned we were there last month and are back for a quick trip and she said that next time just call them directly to book and they always have cheaper rates than the likes of expedia, especially for repeat customers.

*we also received a voucher for a free appetizer or kids meal with purchase at Rainforest cafe. we did not use it but, they did give us something extra.

now, i have not looked into booking through them yet, i will soon. there are long weekends in the next few months we are looking to go during

We stayed at the Ramada Maingate August 13-18th and really enjoyed it. We really enjoyed the pool - in the middle of the parking lot but surrounded with tall mature palm trees - and the girls spent a lot of time there!

You can't beat the walk to the parks - One morning I timed 90 seconds from the front of the property to the crosswalk over to Disney. It's a short walk further up the street to McDonald's and Mimi's Cafe (good food!) and a nice easy walk at the end of the day, or during midday to take a break at the pool.

We booked premium rooms and liked the size of the room and furnishings. The beds were comfortable, enough towels, clean rooms, etc. We could watch the fireworks from the balcony outside our doors.

I especially liked all the little convenience shops at the front of the property. I could get a morning latte, pick up some sunglasses, buy a tshirt, check out tourist brochures at Cleaver Brothers, get the morning paper, buy snacks or water ..... and even rent an electric scooter!

I would definitely stay there again.
