We are booked for this hotel in June- there will be 5 of us and we have a 3 room suite reserved... I too would love some updated info- this will be my first trip to DL as well as my 8 yr old sons- we are SO excited!
Ive stayed at that hotel before and will be doing so again in April. I like the hotel and the distance from DLR WAS AMAZING it was so convenient . The maid service left us wanting though.
Well, I could see the pictures from the OP just fine, so I don't know what the deal is with that. Some can see the photos and some can't, I guess. I was just wondering if "rossip" who posted on 8-1-09 had actually stayed there, yet.
MJ, I can see the pictures just fine and appreciate them. Off site we've always stayed at BWPPI but I'm seriously considering trying this place ever since I saw your post for the first time
THanks for all you do!!
Yep fantastic !! Would easily recommend this place -stayed in a premium room so make sure you get a premium room.
Rooms were clean and comfy , beds and pillows very comfy
Great pool and jacuzzi , friendly helpful staff
awesome location etc etc
breakfast was OK
I'd write more but its New years eve over here ! Somewhere on this board is my full review and there is also a review and photos on the TA boards
we walked through a couple of other properties and looke dat the rooms and the ramada was way better though I must stress get a premium room , some of the others looked a bit less inviting
This place used to be the Saga Motel,my wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon almost 25yrs ago. (holy cow) The empty lot just south of there 'was' a Golf and Stuff.
Thanks for posting your pictures! I haven't stayed here in a while, but for an economy hotel I love the pool and how close it is to DL's main entrance. The last time I stayed here the walkway entrance was directly in front of the hotel, but it got moved when CA Adventure started being built.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times as well and we were very satisfied with it! Rooms are nice and clean and the pool area is nice as is the continental breakfast. We have gotten some great deals on this place through Getaway today. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested!
Just checked, and I can see the pics (couldn't see them from my work computer). Hope everyone else can, too.
This place remains on my "recommend list." I like the location, heard some of the rooms (in the tall building in the back) are deluxe and nice, they have a really nice pool, and I like that they have a food court for the families on a budget.
Im very interested in trying out the Ramada Maingate with all the great reviews I've heard. Normally we stay at the Hojo but last time (Oct) we took a very quick trip and there were no rooms available at the Hojo so we tried Anaheim Plaza.
We didn't like it at all. The beds were not comfy. The property felt old and run down. We won't be staying there again.
So my question is Is the Ramada a nicer motel in comparison to the Plaza?
