Or wearing shorts. That's very upsetting too.As long as her bare arms aren't showing. That can get all kinds of people all riled up.

Heaven forbid that a First Lady appear with bare arms. Oh wait...As long as her bare arms aren't showing. That can get all kinds of people all riled up.
Totally off topic... As an English teacher, I am so totally excited to see that you punctuated the conjunctive adverb however properly!!!!! You go girl!!!!! So many people don't know how to do it right.I get what you mean about that; however, even with the somewhat unusual aspects of it, she couldn't really pull it off. Some people can really pull off "out there" clothing. She's not one of them.

On the subject of bare arms; of all the First Ladies if I could take one thing from any of them it would be Mrs. Obama's arms. They look fabulous and I know I could never turn my bat wings into anything close. Other things people are admiring could be surgically enhanced but those beautiful, toned arms.
I must have missed it. What else have people been admiring? Other than a blue suit that is.
I don't understand your question? The previous five or so posts were talking about Mrs. Obama's bare arms and I was commenting that I would love to have arms like hers. My experience is that I could never develop my arms into anything like that and while surgeons can help other physical attributes I don't think they can give you fabulous arms.I must have missed it. I didn't even see this one before, but this would probably be more my style.
Maybe that's what she changed into after she ate! (Notice, no belt!)
What do people think of this one?
What do I think of this one? OMG it is actually my prom dress from 1978!!!! I am sooo serious it is!!!Just add blue ribbon![]()
Maybe the First Lady's nude pictures?

Maybe I was the only one admiring Mrs. Obama's arms but I still think they are fantastic.
Mom2, aren't you a dressmaker?
I am glad we agree on something. I do think though that in discussions about Mrs. Trump's style it is pertinent to talk about her willingness to pose nude. Isn't that in itself a style? And since people here keep comparing her to Jackie Kennedy, I can't in the furtherist part of my brain imagine Jackie Kennedy ever posing nude. She always seemed an extremely private woman, almost obsessively so. That is where the breakdown in any similarities starts for me.I must have missed the posts here where someone was admiring the nude photos.
I wish people would stop trying to have a proxy discussion about things that were never said here.
If people want to discuss the nude photos, they probably need to find a different forum for that.
At last we can agree. Her arms are beautiful. I'd own a few sleeveless things if mine looked that nice.
Me too.I am glad we agree on something.

She's a MODEL. A born and raised in Eastern Europe model. Let that sink in. It's a completely different culture and she may not have batted at eye at posing nude. Although to be fair, plenty of all American supermodels have posed nude in their day too.I am glad we agree on something. And there are other posters here saying inflammatory things just to get a rise.People seem overly defensive of her and honestly it's weird. So what if some people didn't see the comparison to Jackie Kennedy or didn't like her dress? It feels like you can't say that without posters coming to her defense and telling you you're wrong.
