And just want to add to my previous comments that I do think she seems to be a great Mom. Did anyone see the picture from when she and her son were walking in the parade and she went to hold his hand and he pulled it away? What mother of a son can't relate to that when a boy gets to be around a certain age? I felt for her, as a Mom. A very caring Mom. She elected to stay home with her son most of the time while her husband traveled.

I think she also has a very careful & guarded look about her - like she's still unsure & trying to find her footing, which is perfectly understandable.

Something Barack Obama said in one of last speeches was really touching to me. He thanked Michelle for performing so well in a position she never asked to be in.

And I think that can probably be said for a lot of First Ladies.

"That day I agreed to be your wife? I had nooo idea we'd end up here."

It was meant to be a harsh dose of reality. What are some of these posters going to do the day their children make a mistake? And SOME will. Kids do stupid things. We teach them better and they still mess up. I've known smart girls who send nudie pics. SMH. If you hold the attitude that a professional model having her photo taken nude makes her some kind of awful human being (and that seems to be what some are saying) then how do you deal with your DD sending a nudie pic to a boy? And it's easy to say it won't happen, but unless you have no DDs, it just might. Would you say about her the things you are saying about MT? Something to think on.

Another harsh dose of reality; we are not just talking about a model taking nude photos. I know some people call that artistic and if you like that it is ok by me. There is a difference between nude photos and the pornographic images of whatever the two women are doing in the photo. And these images were not taken of a young woman hoping to escape dire conditions in Eastern Europe. She was older. And to continue the comparison close to the age these photos were taken, Jackie Kennedy was burying her assassinated husband. Nothing in common style or otherwise.

It's never a bad thing to learn that the rest of the world doesn't live exactly as we do. And that their way of looking at things might differ as a result. Or we can just stay in our little bubble.

I guess it depends on where you live. Women don't dress that formally at our church. We don't dress up for Easter dinner or Christmas. A wedding? Hmm maybe if if was somewhere super duper fancy in the winter as it has long, hot looking sleeves.
Sorry I don't really see it. Seems like more of a red carpet thing to me. Sorry my opinion.

i haven't seen the dress without the jacket..appears very simply cut. The sleeve are only 3/4 length, but the gloves give the illusion of long ones.
