WDW trip starting on Sat. I checked the weather and it predicts 80% chance of rain on Sunday. Any ideas of raining day activities if we don't go to the parks for 3 girls 11,9 &2 We are staying at Beach Club.
-Check out the resort's activities for kids/pin trade/snuggle & have movie time and popcorn (we always rent a few movies from our library and bring them with us as go to) Go for ice cream at Beaches & Cream
-Ride the monorail and visit other resorts/pin trade
-Go to DTD and play at Lego Land, shop a little, indulge in a sweet treat/pin trade (Do you think we like pin trading?)
Or...
-If it's within budget for you, check out the circus (a little pricey but IMO worth it & you'd have to see if it's a dark day or not). You don't need to purchase tier 1 seats! Or if your family likes bowling you could visit the new bowling alley in DTD, but again a bit pricey.
Go to the parks!! Almost everything goes on as usual (baring a thunder storm) and 1/2 the people stay home!!! I would invest in a lightweight/comfortable rain coat if rain is highly likely. Ponchos are great for a pinch, but sort of a pain to deal with. Wear a cap with a bill under the raincoat to direct water away from your face a bit. Wear waterproof shoes, we like crocs. Take a rain cover for your stroller and be sure all bags are water proof. We have taken dry clothes for when the rain stops and stored in a locker a few times. My favorite memory of WDW is a day it rained all morning when we were in MK. It was quite cool and a low crowd day anyway. NOBODY was there. We walked on every ride and had the best time ever. We did a sit down lunch to escape the rain and it stopped raining early afternoon, but few people came out. We changed clothes and kept going!!!!
