rainy day - which park?

Going in 2 days and looking at the weather forecast it looks like rain for one of our days. Which park is more manageable in the rain, AK or MGM? Will have dd5 and ds3 in tow

Animal Kingdom if it rains! We were there in the summer and it was raining and there was hardly anywhere to go...

Wow...I was just going to post TO go to AK if it's rainy.

When I took my mother and sister a couple of Septembers ago, the first morning we were there was rainy. We went to AK early that morning and it was awesome.

The animals were all out and enjoying the cooler weather. It was really neat.

I would suggest Epcot. Each building in FW has a lot to do especially Wonder of Life and Energy takes a long time to get through. The Land has a lot to do and the kids could spend a lot of time in Imagination.

I would go to MGM on a rainy day. It seems to have more places indoors. AK seems too "out in the open" if you are looking for inside things to do.

I love Epcot in the rain, providing it is not torrential... you can duck in and out of buildings and see all the movies in the countries.. of course I am an Epcot fan anway...

We will be there this weekend also, and the weather.com has downgraded the chance of rain Monday to 20%. I think we are going to follow the local news when we get there Saturday night before changing our plans. Monday is supposed to be our MK day. Not looking forward to switching it to Sunday EE morning if rain is imminent. I think MGM is where we will go if is going to rain Monday. Keep our fingers crossed! Have a great vacation!

We were there in June and it came a downpour at AK-apparently that park does not drain very well. There were places where the water was over the tops of our shoes. I would not recommend AK in the rain since there really isn't too many things to do until it stops raining.
