I have a little different perspective. I live here, so the weather is what it is - but I'm also staying at BC from the 2nd through the 11th. In December, you have to be prepared for everything. We typically get cold fronts through about once a week, so you will have a day or two of gloomy looking skies that may or may not rain (and the rain may last all day), followed by four or five days of good temps and bright sunshine. Then the pattern repeats. I'm just hoping for good weather on check in and check out day. Otherwise, I'm packing two different weight jackets, my nylon rain poncho (which can also be layered with the jackets if necessary) and a couple pair of shoes, in case one gets wet. I know it won't rain for the entire 10 days I'm there. On the days it does, I'll take that as a sign that it's time to rest in the room with a good book (I've been covering for someone on vacation at work, so I'm really tired right now - reading a book in bed sounds like heaven
).
