Rainforst and Spa Pass Question

No auto gratuity on my weeklong spa pass for NCL Getaway. (Which included a decent-sized warm pool.)

oh, that's good to know. my husband and I are thinking of doing NCL on our own without kids someday.

Guh, not to derail the thread but I loved the thermal suite on Getaway so much. :/ look for pics of it sometime if you're bored. Even the promotional shots are pretty accurate. (That said I was more interested in water features than steam rooms, so DCL might have it beat--I didn't try Getaway's sauna/steam, but they had it.)

Love all the responses. Im sailing concierge and have made a note to them when I made my requests that we would like the passes for length of cruise. I didnt plan on going to the spa to try to secure them since I thought concierge would be able to handle.

Thank you all.

Thank you all.

When you first board the ship and head to the Concierge Lounge they will have reps from Senses Spa there where you can also buy them and or make reservations for other services.

what? MORE expensive when you buy the whole week than if you bought daily? 7*16-112, right?
That's what I don't get. It would be better to buy 7 daily passes. I was hoping someone on a recent cruise would have an explanation.

Perfect! Thank you. Between concierge, the spa rep and myself I'm sure I can get this taken care of LOL
Can't wait!

My thinking is that this is because they want to encourage higher sales of the couples spa pass that is significantly cheaper. But that is just a guess, as I have no inside knowledge whatsoever.

I thought I read that the couples spa pass is $144 for the four night Dream. Is this correct? Is it $144 then the 18% grat?
Thank you very much.

That's good to know! I was thinking of heading right to the spa when I boarded, perhaps I'll let concierge help me acquire the length of cruise pass now

I don't know about the 4nt as I've never taken one. I know it's $144 on the 7nt sailings for couples pass, but not offered on the Alaskan sailings.

Don't know the price. But, yes then the 18% gratuity is added.

You can add to the automatic 18%, buy you cannot take away from it.
