How much is the week-long package for the Rainforest Room? Can you try it for a one-day price then "upgrade" to the week if you like it? Is it co-ed? What do people wear in there? Do people generally put towels on their seats? Do you have to make a ressie to go there or just pop in any time? If you purchase the Rainforest Room package, do you need to get in line to get your reservation or can you do it at any time on the cruise? Does it book up?

We were on the 7 day 2 years ago, so my info may be a bit dated.
I think iit was about $50 fot the week- and yes, you could try it for a day and apply the daily rate if you chose to use it all week. Everyone must wear a swim suit since it is co-ed. Many people put towels down wherever they sat. When you sign in you are give a robe, towels were inside, on shelves. I think you could also get a locker if you wanted one. It was a wonderful place for the adult to hang. The heated tile loung chairs were great! We had late seating for dinner, so we would relax in teh rainforest, shower and change for dinner, see the show, have a drink..... ahhhhh- can;t wait to go back!
You don't need reservations. You just go in when you want. There was only one time I felt it was too busy.

Yes, the Rainforest is worth every cent! You can come and go as you please and stay as long as you like.

Yes, it's CO-ED in the Rainforest and everyone wears a swimsuit. The male/female changing rooms have showers, lockers, bathrooms, a dry sauna, and soft loungers. I leave my Club Pager with the desk and never have to worry about anything else just my locker key!

There is a large waterfountain in the middle and soothing music playing softly in the background.

BUT remember the entire Spa is under the basketball court so you may hear "thump - thump-THUMP" during your sessions. That's the design flaw in the ship.
But otherwise it's wonderful and definitely worth the money even with the thumping!

Ah yes, the infamous "thump thump thump!"
They continually replenish the supply of towels in there, so most people use them and there will be plenty for you to use too (I like to use several as "padding" on the warm towel lounger). I have some photos of the Rainforest on my website at www.castawayclub.com that might help you to visualize it.

Thanks everyone. I did look at the WEB site before and I thought the photos were great!

I bought the seven day pass. I enjoyed the Rainforest Room very much, but missed a couple of days due to other activities, so i think next time i would purchase by the day. just my thoughts.

Can you just purchase on the day you want to go or does it get booked up?

You can purchase when you go in. In fact, what you might want to do is ask to see how busy it is before you purchase for that day. The staff was very accomodating and eager to take you back to look around. Check it out. If it's not busy, purchase and go in. If it looks crowded- ie all of the lounge chairs are full, go back later. It easily accomodates 10-12 at a time. What a great escape!

Thanks for the info about the Rainforest Room, I had not heard of it until now, but now I can't wait to visit it!:teeth:

Take the Vista Spa tour then you can see everything at the Spa, ask questions, etc. Very informative! And sometimes you can get a good deal - a special that they only offer during the tour.

Good luck and ENJOY!

Since it's part of the staffed spa, I'm assuming that it's only open when the spa is. Does anyone know the hours? I'm one for getting the most out of every trip. My family, on the other hand, likes to sleep every once in a while. I'm thinking I'll send them back to the room and enjoy a little quiet time after the shows. Sounds wonderful!

i want to say the hours were from eight am to ten pm.

I'm wondering how old you have to be to use the Rainforest Spa. Is it for 18 and up?
Thanks!
