I am curious if this would be worth it to book for my husband and I? This is our first Disney cruise and it will just be the two of us, we will be on the Dream. I would love to hear your reviews and thoughts if you have booked this on the Dream. Thanks!

I'd wait until you get on board so you can see first hand what you actually get. Once you've taken the tour you'll be better situated to decide if the cost is worth it for you.

For your first cruise I would just get a day pass. They can sell out, so go early day of. If I have a length of cruise pass, I tend to spend most of my time there to “get my money’s worth” and there are so many other things to do and explore on your first cruise.

I purchased the length-of-cruise pass but only ended up using the sauna. It was somewhat worth it since I sailed during Spring Break and the adult-only hot tubs were always crowded. Would I buy it again on a future cruise? Probably not. The more you sail, the more you start to realize that some onboard experiences just aren’t worth the extra cost.

We loved the rainforest room on the Dream, but on a 5 night cruise only used it one day.

We are sailing on the Treasure in June and the rainforest room cost is prohibitive to buy a length of cruise pass if we’d only use it 1-2 days.

I think it matters if you’re traveling with kids and how much time you plan on using the rainforest room. We very much like to spend time with our kids on vacation, and they still like to hang out with us, lol. For us, not worth it. If just my husband and I, we would absolutely buy it.

I love the rainforest room. I find it a way more relaxing place to hang out as a couple than the adult areas. The hot tubs over looking the oceans and the heated loungers are my faves, but I also use the showers and the steam rooms. It just depends if that sounds like something you would want to spend a significant amount of time doing every day. Also, account for daytime activities like port days/adventures, brunch, spa appointments that might take away time to use the rainforest room and see if the price per day is worth it to you.

It is very difficult to get a lounger in the rainforest room and even harder to get into the hot tubs unless you go first thing or later in the evening. Standing in the heated lounger area waiting for someone to leave isn’t my idea of a relaxing time. I was spoiled during the restart when we purchased the entire rainforest room for our party for 1 3/4 hours. It was expensive but I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Which ship were you on? Busy time. I’ve bought several length of cruise passes and never had trouble. However, having the place to yourself sounds really cool!
