OK I might as well ask this as well.


On Mousesavers there is a coupon that you can use for RFC. It says you can purchase a kids meal for $.99.

Can you use that coupon and your RFC gift card?

A gift certificate is just like cash so it will not affect you using the 99 cent coupon at the RFC (I actually used the coupon a couple weeks ago with no problem, btw).

You didn't ask this but just an FYI, I don't think you'd be able to use a Safari Club card with it, or any other discount like an AP one, because they usually limit discounts to one per table.

This is totally cool. Yeah, I kinda figured you would not be able to use any other discount with the coupon. Would be nice if you could double dip, however

I can remember years back on these boards when someone was trying to use a gc some place, and they were told that the gc was like a coupon . I can't remember the OP outcome on that one, but I think they were able to use the gc and the coupon together in the end. I am sure a manager was called in on that one. It must have been an uninformed waiter who didn't know the rules.

Yes, that definitely sounds like a waiter who didn't know how a gift certificate works. The only time I could see a possibly issue with something like that would be restaurant.com GC, but I think those might actually say they are not good with other discounts, which makes sense since they are so cheap in the first place. But for someplace like RFC, it just wouldn't make sense and I would definitely ask for a manager if I had a problem using a coupon with a GC.

We used 2 99cent coupons in conjunction with MyPoints RFC certificates in February. The only stipulation was that you could only use 1 coupon per adult meal. It was fine for us since we had 3 adults and 2 kids.

I have to say, though, the meals were not worth more than 99 cents. I think it was 4 or 5 dinobites, about 17 kernels of corn and a few chips. I would have passed out had I paid $5.99 each for them.

Do you mean the coupon or the gift card? I know you can use the GC at TRex, but I think the kid's meal coupon is for RFC only.



I know what you mean about the kid's meal not being worth more than .99 cents. I really do not like RFC. The food is mediocre at best, and it is always so cold inside!!!!!
