I am doing kind of short notice ressies. I am wanting one at RF in Downtown Disney for March 19. So far the number disney dining gave me is not getting me any results!! Don't know if I wrote the number down wrong or what. Maybe Rainforest is closed on Tues. Does anyone have a #? I've even looked in my guide book but came up with nothing.:confused3

I don't know wher your problem lies. I made ressie when we ate there, don't remember the day of the week. I have had many people tell me that they don't take ressies, but I know I made them, I still have my confirmation number in my scrapbook folder.

I certainly wouldn't recommend the one at DAK, it is not nearly as nice at the one at DTD.

Call Disney Dining, they can give you the number. In my guide book, it says they take ressies at 407-827-8500. HTH!!!!!

Princess Suzanne, I believe you are right! I had a 3 instead of a 5 in the last set of numbers. My guide book said to make ressies and I remember how crowded it looked when we were in DTD. THanks! I'll try that number when they open today!!

407-827-8500

They're open every day. Call them directly to make reservations.

Now this MY personal opinion - I personally don't like the food at Rain forest Cafe. I live within 30 minutes of 3 different Rain forest Cafes and the only time we go is just to see the animals inside. I think it's WAY overpriced for the not-that-great food that they offer. It's cool for the kids to watch and whatnot and the actual rain forest that takes place is cool, but don't waste your Disney time for this. If you live near one, go there instead. The alcoholic drinks are yummy though.....

I got reservations for 6, I don't see why they couldn't do 11.

MommyBuzz, we live in a rural area and haven't eaten in a Rainforest for 3 years so it's something for the kids to do! We are going to DTD that night for Cirque Du Soleil so will be there anyway. I think the food is Ok, just not wonderful! Of course you pay for the surroundings! I was hoping T-Rex was going to be open but not until later I guess.

Maybe it is because this one is at WDW, but we loved the food and the atmosphere and my mom doesn't usually like noisy places to eat. Now, saying that, we really weren't impressed with the one at DAK park, the atmosphere was no where near as good and the service was lousy, as was the food, and there was hardly anyone there, cause they had just started taking the evening ressies.

I hope to go back to the one at DTD in December, or even on one of my earlier trips this year.

DW mouser, I am glad you were able to get ressies. So many Diser's say I am wrong about that, but I knew I wasn't.
