Rainforest Cafe or Yak & Yeti?

I have a 5:30 reservation for the Yak & Yeti and a 7:00 at Rainforest Cafe both for September 14th.

We have been to both previously and I don't know which to choose. I'm also conflicted because we are eating at T-Rex a few days later and it has a similar atmosphere. We are on the Disney Dining Plan too and want to get the most for our money as well. Thoughts?

Yak and Yeti by a mile! I like the atmosphere there so much better. Rain Forest cafe is a chain, and it feels like it. I would walk over hot coals for the friend wonton desert at yak and yeti.

I agree with DopeyDame. You can find Rainforest Cafe in all major cities. I think it's a fun place, but Yak and Yeti is unique to Disney. You can probably squeak a few dollars more in value at Rainforest Cafe on the plan, but is it worth it?

From a timing perspective, I like the 7pm at Rainforest. This will help you maximize your park time since AK closes at 7 that night. If the 14th was your only park day for AK, I would choose the 7pm ressie.

I believe there's also a 6 for yak & yeti but I'm not sure if that's a better time...

I bet if you keep checking you'll be able to get a later time at Yak and Yeti eventually.

Yak and Yeti, you can find rainforest at other locations outside of disney.
