Rainforest Cafe Breakfast??

Hello all .... I am going to have enough my points points to get a GC for Rainforest Cafe. I was going to consider it for Breakfast during our AK Day. Does Anyone know the Breakfast Hours?? And Did you enjoy it??? I figure if I get the Free GC Why not try it unless it is horrible. TIA

We had breakfast at RFC last October. They opened at 8:30 and we were seated more or less straight away (we didn't have an ADR). DH, DD (13) and I all ordered the Tonga Toaast, which was foul - it was absolutely soaked in some kind of eggy/custardy mixture and didn't taste like it was cooked properly. None of us finished it - DD and I only ate a couple of bites. DD (12) ordered the waffles with bacon and they were delicious - poor girl ended up sharing with me and her sister

The service was pretty slow, especially as it wasn't even a quarter full - we were done eating withint 30 minutes, our server bought the check and then disappeared for ages. We didn't even get into the park until gone 9:30

HMMMM That doesn't sound promising.... I wonder how LATE they are open for breakfast.I was thinking of skipping breakfast and eating an early lunch (but now that Tusker house will be closed I am not sure we want to do that)or Eat a late breakfast and skip lunch. I don't want to waste precious early park time. KWIM

We had the exact opposite experience when we went in Feb. Service was great and the Tonga Toast was awesome! Much better IMO than the kind they serve at the Polynesian. We'd go back again and split meals. The portions were HUGE!

I really like this breakfast also. My favorite thing to have is Pie of the Viper, the breakfast pizza. Its excellent! I would give RFC breakfast a try, especially since for you its free!

Thanks I think DH would love the Tonga Toast!! I do not eat bananas ...HEEHEEE I am just weighing options since Tusker House will be Closed.

I think the hours are 8:30-10:30 am for breakfast, but not 100% sure. When you make your ressie, the CM will be able to tell you for sure.
