Is anyone else just soooo sick of the rain? In the forecast for the next ten days, eight of them are rain. In addition to that it has been raining for what seems all of April and May......sunshine please come back.:sad1:

Come on to Texas 'n bring that rain with ya, we need it.

Enough with the rain. We had a beautiful week last week, and then it started raining for the weekend. I guess we must be punished for having some nice weather. I would be glad to send all the rain to TX, especially because we have a Girl Scout camping trip this weekend. Please let it not rain!

OP, you must be from Cleveland! We had the rainiest April on record and May hasn't been any better. It is just awful.:headache:

Same forecast here

Last week was picture perfect. Sunny, warm temps. I don't expect that daily, but there is rain every day in the forecast, and it has been like this all week. It really plays with the mood doesn't it?

I'm so sick of rain we have major flooding going on. For about the next week or so we are supposed to get another5-10 inches this isn't going to help anything

Yes, very tired of the rain here. DH is a farmer and they haven't been able to get all of their corn/soybeans planted yet. Most of the corn is in, but if we have a day or two of sunshine the fields have to dry out, then it rains again. He is also a crop insurance adjuster and he's afraid he's going to be bombarded by prevent plant claims due to the rain. :(

This is the worst spring I remember. It is like I was moved to the Ardennes in Belgium and no one told me.

Michigan here too. I suppose Mother Nature is getting us back for the insanely beautiful summer we had last year. Oh well must be time for a road trip :goodvibes

What is sunshine, I have forgotten what it is, we have had 2 nice days in the last 6 weeks or so other than that it has been all rain here in lovely Indiana and appears we might get a nice day Friday then no more until the following Thursday

I'm missing the drought.....

ACK! don't say that!

We've had the wettest May I can remember. We get so very little rain from May through October. The A's games on Monday & Tuesday were delayed because of rain, and when they did play them, it was still raining. We're just not used to any rain in May.

We did have a wonderful summer and one of the best autumns that I can remember. It was beautiful right into December. I remember saying back then that we would pay for it.

Here in ND you feel like you need an arch to get aroundi'm so sick of rain and water. We are having a nice day today then the rest of the week more rain:sad2: The farmers are so far behind in planting. I fear the nice day we are having today will be our only day of summer.

I'm in Texas praying for rain....(but not this weekend because I want to do yard clean up!)

I'm trying to convince myself that we're getting all the rain out of the way now and it's going to be a fabulous summer!! :)

something like 6" in March and 8" in April..and it's rained almost nonstop for a few days in May..with no end in sight..we are now under a tornado warning..my whole lawn and garden are a soggy, muddy mess..and to make matters worse..the neighbor on the hill behind me..decided to dig a ditch across his driveway and divert the water thru his hedges into MY back yard..I can't mow the lawn without ending up ankle deep in mud..I am worried about it killing bushes and trees, and now I am worried that the standing water will attract mosquitoes..we had a supply line leak for 7 neighbors in the middle of a pipe in OUR back yard in Jan. and had a skating rink in our yard, driveway and out into the main road..I just can't seem to get away from the water lately!
Yesterday..I was out there in the middle of the downpour clearing out the gutters..for some reason the downspout hole got plugged and we had water seeping into the basement..cleaned out the downspout and bingo..all the water disappeared..
Please..God and Mother Nature..send some sun to all of us..especially to the South where they were hit so hard by the torrential downpours in the last few weeks!

I don’t care if it rains all week, but not on the weekend which has been the case in Chicago. I just hope my grass doesn’t get spoiled being hydrated all the time because once it stops raining we aren’t ever going to be home :thumbsup2

We would love some of your rain here in South Carolina. All the systems have been missing us lately - going too far west.

My grass is crunchy even with running the sprinklers every other day. I am scared to open my water bill. I am sure it has doubled over last month between watering the lawn and my flower beds.
