Hi all!

Well I be leavin for HRH tomorrow morning. From the forecast, it looks like rain for the next three days. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice or how to mangage through the rain. Thanks!

Dont worry, the weather can change in an instant. It isnt likely that you will have 3 days of solid rain. I guess it could happen but usually it rains and its over. We have been there when it just absolutley poured.

Go buy some rain poncho's at your local $ store or you can get one at the park (more $). Universal Studios is easier to navigate and experience in the rain since lots of the rides/attractions are indoors.

Enjoy the water rides at IOA, you'll be wet anyway!

Have a great vacation!! :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella:

We have been there during a rain shower both is August and this past December. Never had a constant day of rain, although those days can happen. Except during a really bad lighting storm things pretty much go on as if the sun was shining. Remember you paid a lot of money for those tickets, can't let a little rain bother you, sometimes in August it feels good! Just remember, your rainy day there will sure beat my day at work, have fun.

Wear a rain jacket and go on lots of rides since it won't be crowded. You could also do indoor rides during the rainy times.

Go early. It usually rains in the afternoon. The hot sun heats up the ground, moisture goes up into the athmosphere, and it rains. I'm down here in South Florida, and it just started raining at 01:00pm. From the early morning, to this time, there was no rain.
What happens, is that anytime between 2-6pm, it can pour, but it usually lets up after a few hours, and the rides open again. If there is no lightning, the rides will continue to run.

Not to worry ... as others have said, it won't rain all day. I have vacationed in Orlando on average twice a year for the past five years, and have never had a day of all-rain.
Anyway, the crowds tend to thin out rapidly once the rain starts, and once people leave, a lot of them don't come back, so you might have the parks all to yourself :-). Universal Studios would be my vote on a rainy day since it has more indoor rides.

The crowds will be little due to rain, that's def. one positive :)
There are plenty of indoor rides @ Universal Studios, and IOA has water rides so no worries. Just enjoy yourself, bring a poncho. It's been raining here in south south florida all day so far.
