My weather app says it is supposed to rain every day this week. Do you think that will be the late afternoon shower type of rain, or are we in for a really rainy week? We get to SSR on Wednesday, and have big plans for lots of walking around the resort and also over to Disney Springs. We're an older retired couple, and we don't plan to even go into the parks this trip!! I hope we don't have to sit in the room the whole time!

1. You can ignore any forecast over 18 hours in advance.
Besides, it can be pouring at, say, MK, and the sun can be beaming in Epcot.
(And, the forecast can be for "50% chance of showers.")

2. Likely.

3. Maybe.

4. Me too.
I wouldn't worry about it in advance.
Take it day-by-day. (What else is there to do?) ;)

when it is raining go to the parks they tend to be less crowded do indoor rides and have fun oh and make sure you get a poncho so you can fit in with the disney crowds

Our last trip in September it rained (I mean non-stop torrential downpours) pretty much our entire trip. We pulled out our ponchos, brought extra socks for when our feet were just to wet to deal with, and a small umbrella and away we went. It was hot humid and rainy but we weren't going to let that stop us. Have to say the worst hair pictures we have ever taken but we had a blast anyways!! You never know if Florida...we were expecting some showers and it was more like hurricanes BUT there have been other trips where it said rain/storms and it rained for 10 minutes and then the sun was out the rest of the day. Nothing you can do but pop on a poncho and go for it!! Don't let it ruin your trip! We will be there the end of this week too...hoping for sun but ponchos are packed! :-)

If there's a warning for a tropical storm or hurricane close to FL it can rain all day but summer in FL mostly mean a shower in the afternoon.
