Have a blast in WDW and especially WWoHP....I took so many pics it was pathetic. Make sure to do the wand tour at Olivanders - we ran out of time and couldn't take the time to wait in line. Please bribe LUV with a new D&B for her TR (you're welcome LUV!)

One final note: we booked a cruise for 2012 while onboard but we've since pushed that back to July 2013 to coincide with a special moment in our lives. It's a long way out, but it seems fair to say that we'll start a pre-TR on that cruise (to be done in conjunction with a 5-day trip to the World first) in the not-too-distant future. . .

YAY!!! its good to see those who are excited about a 2013 cruise. Im glad I am not the only one. We are doing a 4 day cruise on the Disney Dream to celebrate our 3rd year wedding anniversary and right before that planning a 7day trip to Disney World, just wish they had the prices out for DW. Congratulations on your 2013 trip... YAY!!!!

What?! Just #2?! Seriously, I'm truly humbled that you enjoyed our TR so much. We do actually see humor in many situations, and we do share an amazing connection with each other (she made me say that ). I don't know if you recall a song by the Traveling Wilburys, End of the Line, but it's about hope, optimism, living life as best you can. That's what we believe, and perhaps, just maybe, it shows in our commentary. Again, thanks for the kind words, and we'll be sure to post a link or notice when the pre-TR begins. . .

P.S. I already have the initial chapter figured out.

One cannot be with my fiance and NOT be excited about future Disney trips, regardless of how far into the future said trips may be. This cruise (on which we wrote the TR) was luv's first, and it was so enjoyable, so special, that another cruise after the wedding seemed a natural choice to extend the celebration. I already have a few items about which to start a pre-TR for the 2013 event, but 17 months out seems a little long to begin typing one.

I do have a question.....I know you went to Remey so you dressed up but was there a formal night on the 4 day? I am going on the 5 day in Jan. Usually go on the 7 day with a formal night and was wondering if there is one on the shorter cruises.

I remember YOU! We went on our last cruise 5 years ago too and I was stalking the boards at that time. Sorry your family dynamics have changed but it looks like you found a winner and you both look very happy! Congrats!

Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments! We really enjoy writing these trip reports and love, love, love that they can be both helpful AND entertaining. We certainly enjoy and entertain each other so why not share, lolol?!

Thank you, too, for the wedding well wishes! We (and by we I mean mostly me, lol) are soooo excited and have scoured the Disney wedding thread endlessless (again, that would be mostly me and P when I force him to ) !!

Our next trip is planned for earlyish November to catch F&W, hopefully MVMCP and have a Disney Fairytale Wedding planning session!!! Then we'll have to tough it out until July of 2013 when we'll have SIX nights at VWL (with a DFTW at the end of the week) followed by a four night cruise on the Dream!!! We definitely plan to write about all our upcoming adventures but right now we're struggling to figure out which forum to post it on, lololol!

Luvvwl can't stay sane and our next cruise isn't until 2013! Just sayin'. . .

So glad you enjoyed the TR! We're likely to start pre-TRs in the next few weeks. I wasn't going to until I saw a few that began nearly two years ahead of the event and thought, "Heyyyyy, we're only 16 months away from our next big event!" Then I remembered we added a small visit to the F&W Festival in November, so why not do a quickie, er, short TR for that trip, too? That TR will be in the main TR forum and not on the Cruise forum, however. Stay tuned!

Sorry I didn't respond earlier--I try to respond to all posts at some point, but I think I missed this one. As pointed out by NAB (and quoted in your post), I am the man with painted toenails who nearly had to be extracted from a Wonder tub by the jaws of life. Thanks for your comments re: changing family dynamics, but that's life, isn't it? Though the journey to where I am now had moments of angst and dread, I can honestly say I've never been happier. LOML is the most exceptional woman (my current list of superlatives for her runs close to 100 ), and my current job lets me see my lovely daughter daily (her mom and I are on good terms, too, so that helps). Speaking of, that curly-haired little girl will be a 7th-grader next year! But, she still tells me she loves me and gives good hugs. To have found the love of my life and have the other important female in my life nearly every day makes me one happy fella.

In more DCL news, there is an offer out to DVC members for some June sailings on the Fantasy that are making luv and me rethink our summer plans. We simply didn't have enough time on this past cruise to enjoy everything, and we're itching to go back before 2013. This offer is making us go, "hmmmm." Must. . .not. . .stretch. . .budget. . .though. . .aargh!
