We are here now and it's 6 am and bouncing down have managed around so far however it was only our first full night yesterday so no fireworks. Thursday night the day we arrived we popped into mk and we got caught in the rain there totally unprepared and I don't think I've ever been as wet lol. Certainly woke us up after a long day of flying lol.
Hope the weather picks up as I think it's going to put a little dampener on things with fireworks if not. Our little one dd2 isn't too impressed being in the poncho all the time lol
We were there Sept 9-18. Rain not a problem at all, only saw two storms in 9 days in the daytime despite some days being 80% chance of storms.
The only time it was an issue was when half of MK shut, but guest services kindly moved our FP+ to another day (any time during operating hours) so we had 5 FP+ for our next visit
Don't let forecasts worry you, it's never as bad when you're actually there.
Yep, ditto (2 x tropical storms and once arrived one day after a hurricane has swept through). Just the gamble you take travelling in hurricane season. We have had summer weeks of glorious sunshine and summer weeks if torrential downpours every afternoon. Waterproof shoes are your friend
The weather perked up later on this morning so actually turned out a nice day so far. It's 60% chance of rain tonight but the ponchos are packed just in case
We been at Kennedy space centre all day it been light rain all day but in last hour is clear up. We been here 10 days and from yesterday afternoon to this lunchtime is the most rain we had so far only couple quick showers in that time. Weather ment to be back up to 32c tomorrow. One of cm said yesterday at disney we was having tell end of a strom from Mexico once it passed over it go back to normal just showers in afternoon.
