I can't seem to find a rain cover for the trip and am wondering if they are available at WDW. Anyone know???

My family bought an extra poncho from walmart and used that. I can't claim credit for this idea beacause of course I got it here on the DIS boards. It worked just fine for us.

I got my rain cover at a Babies'R'Us. Maybe you could order it online (through Amazon). Sorry, I don't know if they can be found at WDW.

Edit: Oops, just saw you leave in 3 days. Is there a Toys'R'Us near you? Sometimes they carry baby products as well. An adult size poncho should work well too.

Babies R us carry several great options, try online if you don't have one nearby or they don't have them in stock. Otherwise hit the dollar store, target or wallmart for a clear plastic adult poncho. You can even use a plastic tablecloth for when baby is not riding or for leaving a stroller while in an attraction and it looks like rain.

We used the dollar poncho''s to cover the stroller and kept them on with clothspins. The dollar store is great as they are "disposable" after use and folded very small for easy transport.

Be sure to cover tightly when your stroller is left outside without baby but leave plenty of ventilation when baby rides. I used the clear so baby/toddler can still see outside! My girls are older now but my SIL just got a very nice version from BRU that folds like a frisbee when not in use!

Oops I didn't see your dates, or answer your original question, sorry.

No they don't sell stroller rain covers at WDW. You can try the wallmart or target in orlando or use an adult poncho. IIRC the adult poncho is now clear plastic so if you place it properly the child can have ventilation on the sides and still see out the front. Just pack some clothespins, very handy for everything and you will be fine!

OH MAN!!

I just sold one today at my garage sale for $1.00!! I could have sent it to you!
We bought ours about 4 years ago just for our disney trips but since they have all been in either Nov. or Jan. we never used it once! Yes it may have rained a little but we either didn't drag it with us that day or didn't mess with dragging it out of the bag for drizzle. So it never really got used even once. Just smashed into the bag for several trips.

Can anyone tell me if the raincoats are big enough to cover the strollers that you rent at Disney ?

Thanks for the info everyone. I was able to pick one up at BRU today!! :bounce: Now it probably won't rain one drop! ;)

TRUST ME! If you don't have it, you can't scare away the rain clouds that form every afternoon!::yes::

We used a raincoat on double stroller that we rented thru WDW. It was just fine. the clothespins are a big help. Good luck.
