rain coming down in buckets

we do need the rain - lawns are getting dry - however
DS has camp today! poor kid's gonna get soaked in the woods

Hopefully it will be a nice dry wknd tho

My little camper had a bug last night and was up sick most of the evening. All she kept saying was, "I'm gonna miss camp!" She's still sleeping, but if she saw the rain - I'm sure she'd be glas not to be in the woods!

Susan is going to Camp Pennacook - where is you guy going?

Lucky kids at the daycamp I went to/worked at get to go to the movies, mall, or bowling when it rains. It has to RAIN before a certain period though...camp is not too fun in the rain. It's only the older division of kids though. My sister currently goes there, last time they ate at the mall food court for lunch and saw Finding Nemo. Not a bad deal if you ask me!!!!

I can't stand the rain. After this spring, our lawn has never been greener, and we really aren't in need. Does it ever stop? It's POURING here.

DD8y/o camp was supposed to be doing a field trip to York's Wild Kingdom in York,ME but since its raining they aren't going - but she still gets to go and do crafts and play indoor games etc(there is a gym) so the day should still be good!

DS 6y/o Camp also had a field trip planned to a state park in Ipswich MA but again because of the rain its a no-go - He is really sad he kept saying on the way to being dropped off "I think it will stop raining and we weill go" I hope he still has a good day!

Since my day consists of food shopping cleaning the house doing the laundry and taking the new kitten Aurora to the Vet I am glad its raining - otherwise I'd be in my garden all day

same here, evil princess. my dd's went to the movies last time it rained. today they could wind up at a bowling alley, or possibly Jillian's.
