I am SO FULL it actually is hard to type. Sorry no pics, my memory card bit the dust the first day of the trip.

We had reservations for 11pm tonight, but we got rained and lightning out of Wishes. We went on over to dtd and decided to see if we could get a table early. We checked in at about 8:10, and had a table by 8:20.

I had the Colpuccino soup. SO yummy. The portion is in a cup, but it is a HUGE cup. My hub had the drunk chicken. He loved his too. For entree's, I had the Heavenly Ham, and Lordy was it ever! Probably the best ham i have ever had, and I come from a long line of outstanding southern cooks. My hub had Pie in the Sky (which really surprised me as ham is one of his favorite foods). He demolished it, and I very kindly gave him several large bites of my ham.

For dessert we had the bread and butter pudding, VERY rich and yummy, and the Dunbrody Kiss. IF YOU LOVE CHOCOLATE DONT MISS THIS!!!

The guy who was singing was so entertaining. He really kept the crowd going and made the whole experience even more fun.

Glad to answer questions, but we are still here in the world so I might not get to them till Sunday!

Enjoyed reading your review, thanks for posting.

I have to second all of the wonderful things that were said about Raglan Road. It is definitely our favorite restaurant on the DDP (better than LeCellier, Chefs, O'Hana, etc). We love eating here because this seems to be one of the only places where we feel like we are in a real restaurant and not at a hotel restaurant. The food is authentic and fresh and we have never had a bad experience with the service.

We also love the music, but our 3 year old is truly one of their biggest fans! He loves it!!! He and then band were carrying on quite a rapport on Sunday night. I think they loved him as much as he loved them.

Thanks for your review :thumbsup2

we had been thinking :cool2: of heading there on our next trip, we will definately go now:woohoo: .

I have never heard of this place until recently. I printed up the menu and hubby and middle daughter can't wait to check it out. Thanks for the review.

I have ressies there next Feb . Going solo, from reviews sounds like the Bread Puddinf is awesome!! Has any one tried the Sole or the Baileys dessert???

Glad to hear you liked Raglan Road - it's become one of our favorite WDW restaurants. And the bread pudding is to die for! :goodvibes

I will be there next Friday :cool1: We had a wonderful meal there last fall, and I cannot wait to go back. I had Pie in the Sky which was really good, but I want to try something new this time. I love ham but I am afraid of swelling up between the salt and the heat, so I am on the fence! The lemon sole sounds appealing as does the haddock......... such a dilemma. I will be having the same appetizer (Goat Cheese) and dessert (Bread Pudding  ) as last time as both were out of this world. I love Raglan Road!

Hi,

Since Raglan Road is in Pleasure Island, does that mean that you need to have Pleasure Island admission to eat at that restaurant?

Thank you!

:)

You don't need to pay admission for Pleasure Island any longer unless you are going in to the clubs.

Has anyone tried the banana dessert? I'm sure the bread and butter pudding is fabulous but for some reason I am relly drawn to the banana thing!

Yep, its our now too. Even both my kids agree on this one and they don't agree on anything. We were there last weekend and my DH and I had the deep fried sausage appetizer, fish and chips, the Heaven on Earth ribs and a side of asparagus. My kids had the burger on the kid's menu and a Shepard's pie. Everything was wonderful. Especially the Black and Tans. We were too full for dessert this time :sad1: but I'm seriously regretting not having ordered the bread pudding anyway even if all I could have eaten was one bite.

One of the things that we like best about Raglan is the live music. We have only ever been there when the 5 piece band (and the table dancer) were playing, but I understand that there are other acts that also play on different nights. When we were there last Sunday, the music didn't start until 9pm. I just didn't want anyone to be disappointed if they were there earlier and didn't hear the band.

can we go just for drinks? would you still make an AR? or is there a bar area to sit at?

There is a very large bar so you could definitely go just for drinks. We went for dinner in August and weren't impressed with the food or the service but we really liked the music.
