Ok, so I just booked the rest of our ressies for the Christmas trip. We are eating at Raglan Road on Christmas night. We wanted something outside the parks because we plan on lounging at POR that day. A lesuirely Christmas if you will. Also, looking for any input on Wolfgang's Cafe. We are doing that earlier in the week. Thanks for the help! :santa:

My DW and I have been to Raglan Road on several occasions. We find the food and the service to be excellent. We have never tried Wolfgang Puck's Cafe. However, we have both Raglan Road and Wolfgang Puck's Cafe in our plans for our upcoming trip. I will be glad to post a review sometime towards the end of the first week of November.

We just love Raglan Road! We found the food, the service and the atmosphere to all be wonderful! Are you booked for a quieter early dinner or a later dinner with the entertainment?

Graet! I am looking forward to hearing about your experience. Have fun!

Hello. We are booked now for 6:15. Is that too early for any entertainment? I was hoping to have time to stroll through DTD and look at the decorations.

:wave2: The entertainment at RR starts about 9ish-with an Irish Band and Irish Dancer. We have done both-an earlier dinner which was a wonderful, relaxing experience and a later dinner (8:45 pm ADR) for the entertainment which was a wonderful, upbeat experience. Either way, RR is a fantastic place to be! :thumbsup2

I ate at Wolfgang Puck Cafe in 2004 with DF, and we both loved it! We both were cooks at a restaurant at the time, and are kind of picky too. DH and I have ADR for Wolfgang the day we get to WDW, I can't wait! Casual atmosphere, and delicious food!

We really enjoyed Wolfgang Puck Cafe. DH had calamari and I had the soup of the day to start. The soup was Loaded Baked Potato (or some similar name, but you get the idea)and was DELICIOUS!! DH had the steak that I think might not be on the menu anymore and really liked it, I had the pasta bolognese - very good. Kids shared a pasta meal and ate it up. For dessert - kids shared a sundae, DH had the Key Lime Pie (good) and I had the BEST bread pudding ever - it was peach with a cream sauce, oh so good!!

Overall really liked it and it was nice to go for a dinner at DTD then walk around, shopping etc.

I really disliked Puck's Cafe. All the items that sounded good to me had been removed for the free dining.
I found my pork chop (menu price $27--yikes!) inedible because it had a terribly salty sauce on it.
The sushi was OK, but how can you go wrong with raw fish?:lmao:
Oh, and our waiter was really snotty.....
The place had more noisy kids running around than 'Ohana! We just did not enjoy it.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe is our favorite restaurant at WDW!! The butternut squash soup is a great appetizer, and the Pumpkin Ravioli is my favorite entree!!

Do they give you a different menu to choose from if you are on the dining plan? If so, do you remember what was excluded? I noticed you had sushi, was that considered an appetizer? We will have kids with us, but thank goodness our children aren't allowed to run amuck. Thanks for the input.

Unfortunately you can't get the sushi as an appetizer...only as an entree.

We enjoyed both Pucks and Raglan Road when we dined there last week. There was nothing excluded on Pucks menu, with the exception of sushi being an entree.
