Raglan Road vs The Boathouse?

Which one would you choose for the better food?

Which one serves food that appeals to you? I'd choose that one.

Really tough call. I love both. And for me atmosphere is tied to both. Love the entertainment at Raglan and love sitting outside and watching the boats at Boathouse. I think it would come down to what I was in the mood for. Per dining plan guidelines, Boathouse is a signature and I’d say they do have more “upscale” offerings — but also have sandwiches, burgers etc. Raglan is a true Irish pub. The shepherd’s pie is divine. I don’t think you can go wrong!

Boathouse, easily. We went right after they opened initially and weren't thrilled but we retried it a few weeks ago and had an excellent time and plan to go back at least once on our upcoming November trip

Raglan was just meh when we went for brunch.

I love Irish pub type food such as meat pies and bangers and mash so for me personally it would be Raglan Road. Most Americans would pick the Boathouse, though.

As others have said good news is you can't go wrong with either. Both have great food, so I'd go with whatever appeals to you more. If you have kiddos in toe my daughter loves Raglan for the entertainment so it would get my slight nod.

Frontera. Hahah sorry I know that was not what you asked I just find those two restaurants to be pretty over rated for what they actually delivered when I tried them.

I've done both and my personal preference is the Boathouse, mostly because more appeals to me on their menu and I like sitting by the water. However the Irish dancers at Raglan Road are really neat!

For me, there's no comparison. Definitely Boathouse.

Thanks everyone! I’m still waffling because we have a toddler with us and I know he would enjoy the entertainment at RR but husband and I much prefer the Boathouse menu.
